Special Olympics Australia Junior National Games 2021
From 24-28 October 2021, young athletes ages 8 to 15 years old with an intellectual disability will come together in Launceston, Tasmania to compete across five sports at the fifth Special Olympics Australia Junior National Games.
The Junior National Games is an opportunity for schools, families, friends and communities connected to intellectual disability from around Australia to be welcomed into the world of Special Olympics and share the joy of sports with all children.
The Games provides children with intellectual disabilities activities and sports which meet their individual skill and ability levels while allowing them to play together in a fun and inclusive environment. The Games shows that all children should be valued for their talents and abilities with children of all abilities taking part and benefiting.
